Dr. Mayer was the Focusing Training Coordinator for the
San Francisco East Bay Area for 10 years. Focusing is a method of mind body
healing developed by Dr. Eugene Gendlin Ph.D., who won the most distinguished
professional psychologist of the Year award from the American Psychological
Association. It’s now being used by the Simonton Cancer Clinic, in
preventative medicine, and biofeedback research as well as in psychotherapy.
